Eco Planets

Eco-Planets is an atmospheric, exploration game about traveling through the galaxy to spread love to planets that have been lost and forgotten. Each planet has a heart that can be filled in a unique way -- be it through planting trees that provide sustaining energy, activating a waterfall moon that fuels a planet with water, or ridding a planet of corrupt pollution through illuminating flowers and glowing seedlings, to name a few.

Gameplay revolves around controlling tiny forest spirits ( wisps ), that have unique properties of interacting with the natural environment. They can sacrifice themselves to become energy-emitting trees, clear unwanted foliage from the environment, or even grow heart-wings to fly to other planets in need of love and attention. They are the preserving spirits of the galaxy and will do all in their power to maintain the natural balance.

At its core, Eco-Planet is a game about exploration, discovery, sustainability, and preserving the things we love and cherish most ~ 

Wisps and trees share a cyclical relationship. A wisp can sacrifice itself to become a sprout, which grows over time in a supportive environment. Slowly, it evolves into a tree, then eventually a Tree of Life, which spawns a wisp upon growing to it's fullest ( completing the cycle ).

Wisps and flowers share a symbiotic relationship to better each other's environments. The nectar of a flower can help increase the growth rate of trees and other plants, resulting in more sustainable habitats for future flowers to grow in. As more flowers are born, trees and plants can grow even more quickly, continuing the symbiotic cycle until a planet is happy.

When a planet's heart is happy and full, space travel becomes possible -- allowing a wisp to leave its home planet to explore the galaxy for new planets in need of assistance. Wisps that leave happy planets grow heart wings from the planet's energy and become temporary space butterflies to survive the unknown environments of the universe.
